This week we will explore ”The Worst-Case Scenario - Book of Survival Questions”.  Let’s test your survival readiness!  Do you have what it takes to survive life’s sudden twists and turns?  And are you game enough to find out?  Both primary and intermediate students are welcome to attend.  Class starts at 11:00 am.  

Yes, it’s true.  Santa is coming to Wacky Wednesday vClass on Wednesday, December 17 at 11:00 am.  Prepare to be surprised.  Ho-Ho-Ho.

This week, (Dec. 3/2008) join Wacky Wednesday for a P.E. Party!  You are guaranteed to have fun….and you’ll even leave with a loot bag!   

Thanks to Noah Bayless, EBUS Grade 7 Student, food donations for Free the Children’s - “Hallowe’en for Hunger” campaign have continued long after Hallowe’en evening.  The Bayless house continues to receive donations for their local foodbank.  What an awesome leader you are in your community Noah! 

Join me this week for Wacky Wednesday and learn all about “gross”.  We will be making fake wounds.  Follow the recipe below and make your own fake wound.  Fool your sister, brother, dad, mom, uncle, and maybe even your pet!  Whip up a batch of ‘fake’ wounds before, during, or after vClass.  Don’t miss out - it’s really gross!

What you need: petroleum jelly, toothpick, bowl,red food coloring, white tissue, powdered cocoa

Last week, Wacky Wednesday was canceled due to sporadic internet connectivity.  But, all is well now.  We will be making a lung model during Wacky Wednesday vClass this week, so you will need to have the supply list above, to make the lung model in class.  Don’t worry if you don’t have all the supplies….just come and watch. 

Primary Class: 11:00 am

Intermediate Class: 1:00 pm

This week, Wacky Wednesday was cancelled due to my inability to surf the sporadic waves of internet connectivity.  I need to learn how to surf like these guys. 

Noah Bayless, Grade 7 student, at EBUS Academy,  participated in the “Hallowe’en for Hunger” campaign.  On Hallowe’en evening, while most kids go door-to-door requesting candy, Noah requested donations for his local foodbank.  The food he collected will be delivered to the foodbank by Noah and his father.  Thank you Noah for participating in this campaign.  You are definitely making a positive contribution to your community!
